The designer is Michelle Bohler, a Jacksonville, Florida native. She is happily married to a professional artist. They have 2 teens, a boy and a girl. Michelle's nickname is “Angel” which led to the company name, Angel’s Jewelry Box. Her interest in jewelry started as a child. Her parents had their own jewelry company and faceted and set precious stones in rings and pendants.
When she started working, it was at a large local law firm as a receptionist, and eventually working in the Accounting Department doing all the billing.
“It had great pay and benefits, but a terribly stressful work environment. In 2004, after 19 years there, I quit and become a stay-at-home Mom, and my artistic side that I never even knew I had soon came out. I went to the local bead store, bought some beads & supplies, “just for fun” and ended up absolutely loving it! It just all seemed to come naturally to me."
“My imagination is what guides me when I design my pieces. I always aim for originality, and the pieces I have the most fun making always seem to be my best ones."
"Normally I don’t do custom orders, because I prefer to make my own original pieces.
I get a lot of enjoyment from my jewelry designing, and creating pieces that come from my imagination, experimentation, and even dreams.”
She has begun making Cigar Box purses, which she loves. "They can be so chic, and have endless design possibilities". She makes them for adults and children.
"The bottom line is, I love creating beautiful & interesting things. I'm looking for the customer that appreciates what I make, and enjoys having it as much as I enjoy making it".
